People who use the term “work” are less likely to succeed and fall into these categories:
- Poorly educated
- Discriminates
- Mental illness
- Growing up in an unstable environments
- Lack of skills or preparation
- Lacks knowledge, experience, and continuous learning
- Poor decision-making. Repeatedly making choices that increase risk or reduce opportunities—such as ignoring advice, overspending, or failing to plan—can hinder progress.
- Lack of persistence or consistency
- Pursuing goals without a realistic understanding of the work, competition, or timeline involved can lead to disappointment
- Economic recessions, industry changes, natural disasters, or family crises can derail even capable people
- Poor communication or relationships
- Failure to adapt. Markets, technology, and workplaces change. People who don’t adjust may fall behind
